This 4 port Serial ATA PCI Card provides a fast and easy way to connect up to 3 internal SATA and 1 eSATA II drive to your PC.
With data transfer speeds up to 150 MBytes/sec over the PCI Bus and a new and improved architecture, Serial ATA (SATA) II hard drives, CD-ROMs, CD-RWs, DVDs, and removable storage devices have gained enormous popularity. SATA provides much faster data transfer rates, more bandwidth, and better data integrity than the older parallel ATA interface. This PCI controller card provides a fast and easy way to connect up to 4 Serial ATA II drives to your computer or server.
By combining 1 external port with 3 internal ports, grants you the benefit of merging your mobile eSATA storage device with your PC to easily transfer data. With this configuration users are also permitted to attach an eSATA storage bay for multiple drives.
