The MRI-eSATA-4MCR is effectively 4 eSATA ports rolled into one via a screw style infiniband connection. With separate on board BIOS and hardware controller chips for RAID management, optimal performance is achieved from both the system and the host controller.

Its advanced RAID features and powerful performance architecture make it the ideal controller for mid-range database applications, print and file server applications, and vertical applications including web servers, cluster servers, near-line backup and archival, security systems, as well as audio and video streaming applications.
