The MRI-SATA-II-X64-8R6 is the most powerful Serial ATA II PCI-X Host Bus Adapter (HBA) to accommodate Serial ATA II devices.

Any system with a PCI-X and PCI buses interface can simply add the Serial ATA II devices by simply adding the MRI-SATA-II-X64-8R6 host adapter and loading the drivers into the system. The serial link employed is a high-speed differential layer that utilizes Gigabit technology and 8b/10b encoding. The current data rate is 3.0Gb/s (=300MB/s).
