The MRI-SATA-II-X64-4R5 controller supports Serial ATA 3Gb/s drives and conforms to SATA 1.0a specifications with SATA 2.0 extensions and Native Command Queuing and Disk Activity LED headers support. Command Queuing increases I/O performance by intelligently reordering data requests so that the data can be accessed more quickly. In addition to an improved RAID algorithm, among the enhanced features are multiple logical drive support, media patrol and read check table. All of which are provided to you over a PCI-X/133 MHz host interface with bandwidth up to 1056 MB/s, twice as much as a common 64bit PCI interface.
